Susan Berry

Susan, who until recently served at the Board Chair, has also served for many years with other non-profit organizations in the Orangeburg area. These include the Junior Service League of Orangeburg, the Downtown Orangeburg Revitalization Association (DORA), and the Boy Scouts of America. Her memberships include the National Garden Club, Garden Club of South Carolina, where she served as a board member, the Nationally Accredited Flower Show Judge, as a member of Dimensions in Art Study Club and the Dogwood Garden Club of Orangeburg. 

Susan has also served as a board member of the Council of Garden Clubs of Orangeburg, as well as various other committees. 

Susan has devoted much of her life to nonprofits because of her strong belief that you should always give back to your community. She intends to continue to contribute to the Arts Center as Ex-officio Board Chairman by staying on the Building Committee and completing final touches of the renovation process. A future goal is to install a Pollinator Habitat in the Terrace Garden and to also help the Board in any capacity necessary.
